The Department of Technology of Building Materials and Components provides teaching of profile courses of the specialization Building Materials and Technologies (M)

Building materials and technologies – are taught at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering. Graduates of this specialization have all the relevant knowledge profiling a civil engineer. They acquire not only a comprehensive overview of building structures, classic and latest building materials and their applications in the construction industry, but also the necessary economic education (accounting, financing, costing and pricing, marketing and management, investment economics, etc.) for possible business plans. Graduates of this specialisation can thus – thanks to their universal knowledge – find employment in a wide range of construction activities, in large companies and in private business.
