The Institute participates in the teaching of the subject Testing and Technology in the 2nd year and provides teaching of the subjects Mining and Processing of Raw Materials, Mortars I – Theoretical Basis of Silicate Structure, Mortars I – Computational Basis of Silicate Structure. These courses form a comprehensive basis of knowledge of building materials technology up to the use in structures. Graduates of the specialization “Building Materials and Technologies” thus have all the relevant knowledge profiling a civil engineer, they get a comprehensive overview of building structures, classic and the latest building materials and their applications in construction, they also receive the necessary economic education and thanks to the universal knowledge they have the prerequisites to apply in a wide range of construction activities, in large companies and private business.
